Japan

A relatively small island country in Eastern Asia, Japan is home to a population of over 127 million. Also known as "The Land of the Rising Sun", Japan boasts one of the world's largest economies, a diverse climate and a very low homicide rate. It has been said by many to be one of the safest countries in the world.

The national language is Japanese, but English can be found in some public places in large cities and at popular tourist destinations.
